Gluten-Free Aioli Recipe
By: Gillian on March 14, 2012
Aioli is a garlic-based sauce which originated in the Provence region of France. This gluten-free recipe makes a delicious enhancement to grilled fish or seafood. It can also be served as a party dip with crudités (raw vegetables, such as celery, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli). Hey! It’s also a good way to get kids to eat their veggies!
1 cup Hellman’s or Best Foods’ mayonnaise
1 1/2 Tbs garlic, very finely minced
1 tsp sugar
1 Tbs lemon juice
1 tsp Tabasco sauce
Salt & pepper
In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, garlic, sugar, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce together; season to taste with salt and pepper. The aioli can be kept covered in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
