Gluten-Free Coleslaw Recipe

Although the making of coleslaw originated in Ireland, the term is an English derivation of the Dutch word “koolsla”, which is short for “koolsalade” or “cabbage salad”. This is an easy gluten-free recipe which makes a great accompaniment for barbecued or grilled meats.

Dressing:
4 Tbs mayonnaise (gluten-free)
6 Tbs plain yogurt (gluten-free)
2 Tbs white wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
1 tsp gluten-free dry mustard (or 2Tbs prepared Dijon mustard)
2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

A small white cabbage, shredded (about 8 cups)

Gluten-Free Coleslaw RecipeIn a large bowl, mix together the ingredients for the dressing. Add the shredded cabbage and toss with the dressing to coat. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
