Gluten-Free Butterscotch Sauce Recipe

Next time you’re having an ice cream party, how about trying this gluten-free butterscotch sauce recipe! It’s quite quick and easy to make.
1 1/2 Tbs cornstarch
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbs butter
1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract (gluten-free)
In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a little of the cold milk to form a smooth paste. Pour the rest of the milk into a small saucepan. Add the sugar and butter. Over low heat, stir until the sugar dissolves. Pour onto the cornstarch paste, stir and return to the pan. Bring to a boil, with stirring, until the sauce thickens. Stir in the vanilla. Simmer for 3 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.
