Gluten-Free Italian Cheese Crisps Recipe

You may have seen parmesan cheese crisps sold in upscale supermarkets and thought they seemed rather pricey. Well, they’re quite easy to make at home and this recipe is gluten-free. They are really delicious and crispy. Unfortunately, most of your guests will find them so yummy that you will have to hide some away for yourself because they will go quickly!
6 oz Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
Cayenne
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
On a large dinner plate, grate the cheese on the small hole side of a box grater. Line a cookie sheet with greased parchment paper. Place 1 tablespoon-size mounds of the cheese onto the sheet, 4 inches apart, and flatten each with a fork. Season with cayenne (not too much). Bake in the oven on the middle rack until golden (about 5-6 minutes).
Makes 20 crisps
