In this recipe, pork is paired with pineapple and orange, and flavored with fresh ginger. This gluten-free main dish can be served with a side of cooked rice.

4 pork chops
2 Tbs vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups orange juice
1/4 tsp Tabasco sauce
1 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs minced fresh ginger
Salt & pepper
1 Tbs cornstarch
1 Tbs water
4 pineapple slices, halved
4 slices orange

Gluten-Free Tropical Pork Chops RecipePreheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat and brown the pork chops on both sides; transfer to a casserole. Combine the orange juice, Tabasco sauce, sugar, and ginger; season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the chops. Bake in the center of the oven for about 1 hour. Place the drained chops on a hot serving plate and keep warm. Mix together the cornstarch and water and stir into the casserole liquid. Cook the mixture with stirring over medium heat until the sauce is clear and has thickened. Arrange the pineapple and orange slices on the chops and pour over the sauce.
