Gluten-Free Tarragon Sauce Recipe
By: Gillian Olins on November 1, 2014
Tarragon is an aromatic herb reminiscent of anise. This gluten-free sauce makes a great accompaniment for grilled salmon or tuna!
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup of fish or vegetable stock (gluten-free)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
5 tablespoons chopped fresh tarragon
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Pour the wine into a frying pan over medium heat. Allow the wine to bubble until reduced to about 2 tablespoons. Add the butter, stock, cream, and tarragon. Simmer for about 7 minutes, shaking the pan occasionally to combine the sauce as it thickens. Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of lemon juice to taste.
